勇敢的心

牧童喜歡看電影，更喜歡看好電影，尤其是有深遠意義的電影。因為電影中的角色和說話，往往能夠觸動我對人生及生活的反思。


昨晚重溫 Mel Gidson 在1995年主演的 Braveheart，主角 William Wallace 對 Robert the Bruce 的一番說話無可否認深深地影響著我對「領導」leadership 和「作領導的人」Being a leader 的看法。

"Tell me. What does that mean to be noble? Your title gives you claim to the throne of our country. But men do not follow titles, they follow courage. Now people know you, noble and common, they respect you, and if you would just lead them to freedom, they would follow you, and so would I."

領導的權柄不是建基於領導者的崗位和名銜上，而是建基在領導者的生命和品格上。

政治領導如是，屬靈領導更應如是。
